Power Line Optical Network
Power line fiber optic cable refers to the information channel used for power grid communication and dispatching and protection. Main forms of power line fiber cable are OPGW cable and ADSS cable. OPGW is optical fiber composite overhead ground wire and ADSS is self supporting fiber cable. Both of the 2 cable type can be erected with high voltage power lines.
