ADSS Cable Long Span Aerial Self Supporting for FTTH Network
Hone ADSS cable is used as a communication medium in electrical utilities. It’s installed along existing overhead transmission lines and shares the same support structure as electrical cable.
Description
ADSS cable is short for all-dielectric self-supporting fiber optic cable. With light weight itself and armid yarn protection, it is strong enough to support itself between poles or tower without using conductive mental elements. It’s an alternative to OPGW with lower installtion costs.
All 250um fibers are protected by water-resistant tube filling compound filled high modulus plastic loose tubes. And all tubes (and fillers) are stranded around a mom-metallic central strength member RFP (fiber reinforced plastic) into a compact and circular cable core. Then there are a layer of stranded aramid yarn between cable core and outside PE ( or AT )sheath. For ADSS cable need extra protection of 2 sheath, inner PE sheath will be applied between cable core and aramid yarn.
Application
Aerial and self supporting for backbone network
Distribution for FTTH network
